A Bridal Shower

I was happy to decorate a Bridal shower for a friend's daughter.

Taking the "dots" from the paper plates, favors were made with pretzels, kisses and pink candies.

Scrapbook paper anchors simple centerpieces of candles and gerbera daisies.
Paper lanterns were hung from curling ribbon over each table.
More DOTS! These are water pearls used in the vases.
You have to have dessert! Maybe not DOTS, but the best strawberry chocolate cake ever!

Baby's Laundry baby shower theme

Welcome your guests with a baby bib door hanger. Letters were printed using a word processing program, cut out and attached to the bibs with tape. A long ribbon hung from the hanger provided a place to pin the bibs. This cute welcome banner could be taken apart and used by the new mom or kept and hung on the door later as a "Baby is Here" announcement.

Baby's wardrobe includes lots of diapers. The diaper cake included baby supplies,
toys and wooden letters spelling out baby's name.

Wooden letters from the craft store were covered with scrapbook paper and
glued on wooden skewers. Later mom took the letters off the sticks and made
a name plaque for baby's door.

The punch bowl was disguised in a galvanized bucket. Add a washboard, doll clothes
and styrofoam bubbles.

 Onesie cookies!

One of the proud aunts started collection holiday bibs and sleepers
as soon as she knew baby was on the way. Hanging on a ribbon, they made
great wall decorations at the shower. Baby wore everyone in his first
fabulous year.
Thanks to an amazing great-grandma, one of Grandpas outfits
complete with a picture of Grandpa wearing it, were displayed at the shower.

A fleece blanket added color to the table. The plates and napkins were placed in a mini laundry
basket that mom used to hold baby's toys.
Gotta have desert! Oreo truffles, cream cheese filled cupcakes and onesie cookies!
